Called left message on my cell phone called from work they asked me my first name and my phone #. Looked it up said was in error

Debt collection

Been receiving calls saying trying to collect a debt. Finally answered and they claimed they were collecting for Nicor a bill that was settled over ten years ago!

Been debt free for years. No past dues ever. Credit Score, excellent. I'm thinking the auto dialer will forever dial and I will forever erase the message. It is literally the only call I get on my landline since 99.9% of my usage is on the cel.

Harris & Harris called me. They did not have my correct legal name. They asked for the last four digits of my social security number (which I refused to give them). They informed me that I have a debt with a company that I have never been associated with.

These people / or recorded voice telling me to call them back have been calling me for several years. I do not owe anyone any unpaid bills. scam scam scam in my opinion. They call with recording all the time and give times to call them back. but always the calls come in after hours that they are available for me to tell them to stop calling me. I am positive it is not me or anyone in this house they are looking for.

They called and I called back since I was at work. They said they were a debt collector and asked for me by name. I said I was that person. They said, "Never mind, please ignore the call and hung up." I have no outstanding debt that I know of. They are now on my reject list.

they have been calling for the last 6 months or so leaving either the harris & harris name with very specific details on when to call them back and/or they state they are a debt collector. never have talked to anyone, have just left the call go to voice mail. actually tried calling them back only to get their message stating their offices are closed.
