They claim that they needed to serve me with some paper work about fraud.left me a number with a case number telling me to call them so they can serve me paper work.

Someone by the name Dave Smith calling in regards to a bad check and states he will serve legal papers to my home or work place. He go into giving the file number to contact another number which I called and a recording comes on saying the party does not have service set up to receive calls then goes into a busy signal. Who know who they are?
