I received a call from an operator by the name of KAREN MILLER from (855) 522-9770. She said she was with United Legal Services and that I was going to be served with a judgment or summons.
I was caught a little off guard and most of their information was inaccurate, except for a few things that draw you in, like part of your social security and somehow they discover connections to people you know.
The call triggered curiosity, so I called and spoke with an operator who passed me on to someone, who claimed to be a lawyer, by the name of DARREN MURRAY. After verifying some information he had about me, he began to tell me what I owe and that I needed to set up a payment plan and put a down payment to avoid a summons and a judgement, where I would pay $4600 or something in court fees.
After the call I investigated UNITED LEGAL SERVICES and discovered their history and looked up the lawyer, Darren Murray, who did not exist in lawyers to be verified.
Later that I week I received a call from Darren from a totally different number, then a few days later I receive another call from Karen Miller.
BE ON YOUR GAME AND KNOW YOUR DEBT HISTORY! STOP AND TAKE A MOMENT TO COLLECT YOURSELF AND SEE IF EVERYTHING ADDS UP! Call your local courtroom to confirm and do your due diligence.
