This is actually a customer service "Client Service." They work as customer service to CRA, under the name CRA Corporation, and Service Canada's "phantom" company "Employment and Social Development Canada." They chase after the students whose identities are being used by CIBC to take student loans, fraudulently.
this information is FALSE. They are Canada Revenue Agency officers. They collect EI overpayments and Canada student loan debt that has been defaulted on. This is NOT a customer service company.
This is NOT a "phantom" company that works under any umbrella, nor is this a private company. ESDC is not phantom. Just another name for Service Canada. Statements of account are mailed with ESDC on them.
This number is legitimate it’s a collector for anything owing the government ie; Ontario student loans

Absolutely IS Canada Revenue Agency. Not a 3rd party collections company. If called from this telephone number, you are speaking with a federal collections officer.
