I have received the same calls from this caller High Point Asset.
Who are they? They need to be stopping from calling people for trying to scare people into giving them money.
I got a call that I owed from a defaulted payday loan... I wasn't sure, but I gave them my debit card number to take care of it... future date... THEN when I got home I researched and went to the bank and closed the card. I'm not answering the calls now. Said the same as another report - that it was about to go to the courts. BUT it's never been on my credit report - from 2013... I just had to get home to think about it because they caught me at work. I will not answer ANY calls any more that I don't know the number!!!!
yes they called me too. I got two names which I wont put on here, but they called from a different number 18557648944 saying I have 3 cash advances from 2011 2012 and 2013. of which I have never taken a cash advance in my entire life. scarey they had all my important info. called the police and filled a report.
I just received a call. He asked me my name. I asked him his..wouldn't say. Again he asked me what my name was, I said you called me..he stated my name. Asked if I were him, I said depends on who I'm talking with..he said are you xxxxxx. I asked who he was with..I told you high point asset. Are you xxxxxx? I said I'm the lawyer representing xxxx..have a good day sir and hung up. Google high point asset, they supposedly setup registration in buffalo NY on 7-24-15. Hmm
Yep, same deal: 3 loans i never took out to a checking account that was closed 4 years before the 2013 date of these "loans" and I live in a state where these kinds of loans are illegal. SO aggravated about these stupid calls. Today they called, after I called them yesterday because j didn't get the validation info they said they mailed on the 13th--yup, was never mailed--but they were happy to offer to email it to an address I haven't used in at least 6 years so nope, I insisted on a paper letter sent in the mail and explained all of the weird problems with their accusation and finally the guy put a manager on the phone and asked if I wanted to note it as fraud and I said to do that. Lol. I'm sure I'll hear from them in a few weeks with a new name, they used to be concord resolutions, a place that called me a bunch of times over the summer with the same spiel and different amounts.
Oh funny thing was that between 2 different calls this month, the amounts of the loans and the NUMBER of loans were totally different. Do they truly expect anyone to actually give them money?
