Constant calling continuously, hanging up when answering machine picks up. Caller ID doesn't register caller, therefore do not know who is calling.

I did not answer the phone this time - in the past the same number on caller id when I picked up had a pre-recorded message offering credit card services - generalized, not from a company, though they make it sound like it is an urgent message coming from a company I have a card with already. They have called several times, but my caller id list on my phone only records unanswered calls, which I've indicated below.
