They call me today with the same speel they have given others. Thank goodness I checked it out. Anonymous, I am so sorry this happened to you. I hope that you will be pleased to know that your post helped keep me from falling for this scam too. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Caller: "Microsoft"
female voice repeating that MS had discontinued Windows service on my PC, telling me I should call this number. Repeated number several times during the message. Seemed scammy, seems it IS scammy.
I actually fell for the scam and lost 400 dollars and then they wanted even more before I quit. I am so ashamed of myself for being so stupid.
