I got a call from them yesterday as well, wanted me to verify birthdate or address but would not identify themselves. I don't care if they're a legitimate collection agency or not, if they refuse to identify themselves, I'm not talking to them.

THEY TRY TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY TO KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE AND SECURE...IT'S JUST FOR YOU SECURITY PURPOSES. NO ONE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH JUST YOUR DATE OF BIRTH.

I'm not sitting on a phone unless a live person is there. Scammers do this auto recording crap to extract $ from your bill.

Caller identified himself as "Martin" and said he was calling about a personal matter. When asked who was calling he told me he needed my birthdate to verify I was the person he needed to speak to .. I repeatedly asked who he was and what he was calling about and this is the only answer he gave so I hung up.
