I didnt answer. Came here to see what i missed.
They are now telling me they are from AOL and my email address is being used from Mexico. I blocked this number also. They are calling from a restricted number now. I need to get my cell phone carrier to block that one.
Yes I got the same type of call, do not give them access to your computer since they will tell you that your computer is infected and they can clean it. Once they know you, they will keep calling you. My computer crashed shortly after this as I caught them looking at private emails in out accounts. The service is hot cheap eiher.
They NEVER stop! It's IMPOSSIBLE to make them stop!
Same as everyone else, computer scammers! Even send crazy emails!
They have been calling me for more than a year and the first time was when I was having computer trouble and looking for someone to repair it so they took advantage of the situation. I was foolish and allowed them access to my computer and it has been a nightmare ever since. However after realizing what I had done I deleted the Team Viewer program so that eliminated them from being able to get in. They have called hundreds of times using many, many different 800 numbers and I let them have it but that does not stop them. They called again today and I told them we finally got my computer fixed and that the tech found where they had hidden the virus or whatever it was they did to it. I had remembered they had installed WebRoot SecureAnywhere program and after a couple of hours the tech found it tucked in that program. He got rid of it and now it works fine. I cannot believe that these scammers cannot be stopped and sent to prison for good. NEVER, EVER ALLOW ANYONE TO CONVINCE YOU TO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER!!!
