TriWest Healthcare Alliance is COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE...and no one should be reporting their calls as SPAM.
Triwest (PC-3) program is designed to enhance access to health care by allowing VA medical centers nationwide to refer Veterans to quality outside providers within the network who are closer to Veteran’s home--and thereby more convenient!
Moreover, the VA medical center sends a care request to TriWest and the network provider subsequently receives an authorization for care from TriWest.
AT THIS POINT, TriWest calls the patient's phone number on record (provided by VA hospital) attempting to reach patient for the purpose of establishing an appointment on behalf of the
Veteran.
