This is not a scam. I finally answered it and they knew my balance and who I bought from. I missed a payment and they told me I could go online at Citibank to pay it. They didn't ask for any info. If they called you, then you likely owe them money.

SPAM. Do NOT give them your credit card information! Have been called by 877-255-8395 three days in a row. Called the number back, as it seemed suspicious, and sure enough, the # wanted me to put in my full credit card number. Voice recording on call sounded authentic enough but no credit card company immediately asks your full card number and/or social security number. I told the spam #'s representative that the # has been reported to the Federal Trade Commission; the rep said, "I don't know what number you are calling from. In order to help you, I would just need some information from you." I said, nope. You've been reported to the FTC. Confirmed with Costco that this is fake.

July 15, 2017 Actually was Citibank calling about my Costco card which had back due charges. Foreign voice, suspicious. Connected me to Citibank in Arizona and worked out problem. On another phone, I was calling the number on the back of my citibank card and they verified this number and also that I was currently in a conversation with Arizona group. So, if you get a call from this number, you probably have problem with your Citibank card.

They call five times a day with one voice message per day. The message left is British sounding accent perhaps? They say they are part of the Costco Citi Bank group and I need to check my account either by logging in to my account or by calling the number 855-805-5486. I have called the card number on the back of my card and they advised of the scam. They are very persistent and do not like being called scammers!

This number has called my home daily for the past four years
I have advised them I was not interestede in their demands they meet because I am a lone, am not at all interested in their credit card thru Costco at all. After receiving the number, I am not interested in their accounts. I've called both the credit card company and Costco to stop this yet they still call me. This is a scam and please do not accept any calls from them. They are now blocked.

Blocked their calls, but still call 3 or 4 times a day.

Has called 11 days in a row very close to 1:30 EST each time, leaving messages on my voice mail to visit www.citicards.com or call the 855 number to review the status of "my Costco Anywhere Visa Card application" for which I have not applied. I also never had a Costco Amex account. I picked up once and still received the message only. I tried to call back but the number appears to be blocked from my office switch. This is very annoying as I expect to continue to receive these calls.

I called the number on the back of my card, after some investigation, I was informed the call came from "Costco Main Gate" but were closed and could not give me any information. They suggested I call back (the number on the back of the credit card) they would verify my identity then transfer the call to this Costco main gate to avoid additional identity verification.

This is definitely a scam. You can call the phone number at the back of your card to verify. Please keep in mind that there is no way for anyone to verify if the comments which claimed this number is legit are not part of this SCAM
