I was contacted by Mr. Mason as well. We worked out a settlement payment and date. The debt was paid as agreed. Now, 6 months later I'm getting phone calls from ANOTHER collection agency for the same debt. Freeman Bryant never settled the debt with the original store, never sent me a satisfaction letter (which I requested), and now when I call the phone number (which I used numerous times working out the details of the settlement), it's been disconnected so there's no way to contact them. Professional?!?!?!?! Definitely not. They've got the perfect scam going. DON'T FALL FOR IT LIKE I DID.

I have dealt with both Teresa Anderson and a Mr Mason. Both were professional, helped me with paying off my Kay jewelers account. 100 bucks a month, received a letter. Nothing was harassing at all. People who complain they owe money, some of u morons are hilarious. You owe money!!!! Pay it!!! Not hard, they tell you u owe a debt! Charged off or not. Smh u people make me sick. Kudos freeman Bryant for helping me. Feel sorry for people who feel "threatened" cuz they owe money. Not once did they intimidate me. Gave me my original account # it checked out. Bottom line? Pay ur bills

I received a numerous threatening calls and voicemail from a Theresa Anderson stating I will be sued for a civil matter. The debt they are trying to collect has been charged off 10 years ago. It is a SCAM! They have no legal address but a PO Box and cant even give their professional license. According to consumer affairs, you DO NOT need to discuss any outstanding debt without a valid written notice. I will be reporting this company to consumer affairs and State general. I hope they get shut down for threatening innocent people with old debt to take their money.

This Sandra Anderson is a piece of work, she really thinks that her "scare tactics" will work. She works for a collection agency, not affiliated with any attorneys office, she claimed she was a "legal liaison", this is not the case. Considering the fact that this company does not even have an address listed, a website, only works 9-5 EST, I get the feeling it is a 2 person collection office trying to make it to the big the big time.

I am a single mom with 3 kids, have hard time paying bills. And I owed on a victorias secret bill. Not only did Mr Mason listen to me vent for 30 min about my life, he made me smile and felt I could accomplish paying this. He set me up on min payments and zero interest. It's a shame there are people out there who complain they are harrassed and belittled. I want to pay my bills and do the right thing and he helped me do that in a nice way. Shame on you people who just don't want to pay you're bills and make excuses and blame this or that. I know I owed someone and paid my debt. That's what's wrong with society. Ugggh. Thanks Mr. Mason and Ms Anderson. Mary Ann

This woman called threatening to place a lien against my home over a debt I've already tried to settle with a collection company. Which by the way they refused my settlement offer even though it was more than 50% of the debt. I have 2 VM's from her.

The next complaint from JW is my original complaint. I couldn't get logged back in. I would like for Mr. Lawrence Mason to be sure and read my complaints. I have 2 voicemails as proof. And no I have not received any written correspondence from this so called "legal liaison" from the so called "attorneys office". Mr. Mason is going to lose his "startup company" from the crooked actions of his employees. LIARS!!!!

Excuse me "Lawrence" yes your company does call threatening people. I have 2 recoded threats on my voicemail from Dandra Anderson claiming your company is a law firm and she is a legal liaison. I have a paralegal degree there's no such thing as a legal liaison. She has threatened that the "action" will be pursued to the extent of placing a lien against my home since I am disabled and a garnishment is not possible. I've contacted an attorney and the attorney generals office and filed a claim against your company for misrepresentation and will file a harassment complaint. You catch more bees with honey Lawrence. I suggest you hire people who are honest and trustworthy because your employees are who is damaging your company.

I did business with them to settle my Kay jewelers account. Got passed around before finding my account was being handled by them And this freeman Bryant and associates had it. They let me do payment arrangements and we're professional, and helped me do an arrangement for less than I owed. Happy camper here. Horace

They are scammers trying to scare people into settling "old debt." If they have no physical address or call center which all legit collection agencies have. Do NOT give them any information about your debts. They threaten you with legal action, but if you were being sued or issued warrants you would be notified via mail and NOT by phone by a collection agency. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

I will address the giant elephant in the room.....I am the head supervisor for Freeman Bryant and Assc. To answer most questions??? Our company is a medation firm that works with P & B Capital which is a collection firm in west seneca NY which is a su urb of Buffalo.....you know the cold place!!l. Like most agencies, we are a group of knowledgeable mediators who not only help but advise. In no way do we as you put it Mike, "threaten people". We give people knowledge of what may transpire If said debt is not paid. And again yes, you have recieved information prior to us reaching out to you. As we send out dunning letters to all parties...Before you make bogus claims, you should really do your homework. Because of people like you, you give upstart companies such as mine a bad name. But unlike you I will not cast stones. All I ask is before you put someone or some thing down on a open forum, that you have all your facts. Thank you. And we look forward to doing business with most of you. Thank you Lawrence Mason.

I agree with you Mike. This company has called and left threatening messages. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general. Actually filing another one against them right now. I think the completely unprofessional message by the so called owner is the perfect example of this so called start up. Before you bash me Lawrence because we all know you will. Please leave a real number and contact information. Thank you! Mike keep filing against them make sure this start up goes back to where it came from you know that "hot" place.

Thank you Mike. I too am receiving threatening calls from these people claiming to be a law firm. My reviews are above. I certainly hope Mr. Mason sees them. He's the one who needs to get his "facts" straight. I have 2 threatening voicemails from his company.

I looked into this as well as there are a million scammers, but after careful and extensive search they are a reputable company. They represent a collection agency and sue on their behalf.
