I got a call from this number that shows as unknown. It was my wife who accepted the call and I was hesitant at first but it turned out as a legit call from synchrony bank and they're just verifying and updating my account information.

Receiving two to three calls a day and several text messages a day from this number. States that it is Synchrony Bank attempting to collect a debt. My account is current and this number is not associated with Synchrony Bank.....major SCAM and great annoyance!

Received three Text messages saying payment reminder for Old Navy. Two gave this number to call. I have not bought anything from Old Navy. The text before gave a different number to call: 888.248.3182

Claims they are Synchrony Bank - i called Synchrony Bank with the number on my card - my account is and always has been current and this phone number is not associated with them (per their customer support department)
