Also received a voicemail from this number. They seemed sketchy and were asking personal information. So weird they knew about my appointment.
This is a bogus number pretending to be Comcast. This is how they check if a number has an active active and they'll sell it afterwards

Not a scam. It's a third party vendor for Comcast to help triage some technician appointments. They called me to see if I still needed today's tech visit that I'd scheduled yesterday.
Caller: Xfinity
This is not a scam. It's a third-party contractor Xfinity uses to troubleshoot technical issues. I just received a call after scheduling a technician visit, and they knew details of my visit, and did not ask me for any personal information whatsoever. They simply asked if the issue had been resolved after some work on their end, or if I still needed the technician to come out.
Called legitimate Comcast today, lo abs behold received a scam call from fake Comcast.
