Received a call from Jessica Davenport (least that is what she claimed her name is). She first claimed that someone put us down as a reference. A name I had never heard before, Ernest Sims in Waterloo, Iowa. We don't know anyone by that name. I said, I'd ask my husband to make certain but I was fairly certain already that we don't him.
So then she says he has a case pending against him and she is trying to get a hold of him. So now the story has changed.
So I start to dig. First... she called me on 941-724-8307. This is noted as a scam number on many different pages.
Second she gave me the 855-944-5944 number. I block my cell phone number and call it and it is her same voice claiming LW Management. So I do some more searching and there is no legit company by that exact name with that phone number.
She gives me some phony case number of DJ224-2511 for this Ernest Sims as well.

All in all... Just another scammer!

Sounds like they target a city you might know someone in and uses that to try to sound legit.
