Calls from this number are directed to my elderly mother, they provide a FAKE case number
(pursuant to FDCPA, illegal) the caller identified himself as Jonathan Cartwright (FDCPA allows debt collectors to use an alias). I have notified the Texas State Attorney General and the CFPB. This collection tactic is typically employed by unregulated offshore agencies, having purchased the debt for "basis points" a/k/a "pennies on the dollar", they are notorious and unscrupulous in their business practice using intimidation tactics, targeting our less astute senior citizen community.
