I was advised that I could get my credit card interest rate lowered to 4.9%. After listening to the recorded call, I was convinced that this was another identity theft/credit card scam and took no further action except to hang up.
I am receiving regular calls like this one on my cell phone (Jitterbug) from the same type of scam artists. I am on the do not call list but this does not stop these calls.
