scam. They called about a payday loan which I do not have. I hung up and looked them up online. Recorded cold calling.

Called once, Caller ID just said "NJ" (I am in the heart of '856' country, though the cell phone they called me on has a different area code). Left no message. Given the previous reports here, I blocked the number.
