The message in its entirety read: "Need some extra MONEY for the new year? You can easily get $1500 today! just visit www.BestCashPlace.com to get started. Write 'NO' to end."

This message is extremely similar to two other unwanted solicitations that I have received in the last month. Each refers to the $1,500 figure and solicited me to visit a different website (i.e., www.USatmLend.com, www.1stDollarStop.com) to borrow money. Although these messages originate from different numbers and point to different sites, their similarities lead me to believe all three were sent by the same party.

By the text, I'm guessing some kind of a loan service.
