I have never had a Bank of America card and have had my phone number for over a decade
Yesterday I received a harassing and threatening phone call. Caller posed as "Officer Damon Miller" from US Customs and the Food and Drug Administration and claimed I was about to be arrested for a federal crime (he said I needed to retain a Federal attorney immediately, but he could provide one for me if I couldn't afford to hire one on my own). To make a long story short, he threatened to come to my house, arrest me, kidnap me and take me to New York in two days; he said I'd be held on $200,000 bail. He told me there were agents outside my office right then holding an arrest warrant and a warrant to search my home. However, as a courtesy to me, they would hold off on arresting me while I was at work and arrest me at my home within a few hours. Clearly, had I asked if there was any way I could avoid this horrible event, I'm sure he would have been willing to take a small payment towards the $200,000 bail if I gave him my credit card number. I filed a police report and called the FBI.
A rude man by the name of Chris Brown claiming to be an attorney, called both my mother and my employer to say they were trying to get a hold of me and that I was being sued and had a case pending in court. As of today, they have called my employer twice. When I call the number back, it just rings and rings. Below are the two numbers they have called from
