I believe this number to be a scam as well--evidence by the fact that: when you Google the number CITIBANK N.A. does not come up AT ALL; however, when you call the number back, a CITI phone menu will play (As If..). Albeit, I do have accounts with Citi, I became suspicious because there was NO Reason for Citi to be calling pertaining to these accounts. I have a CITI customer service number and Simplicity number saved in my phone. These are confirmed and they are the only ones i will feel safe using to divulge any of my CITI Account information. Stay Vigilant.

Researched #. It isnt recognized as an official Citi #. No bank calls you on a Saturday...especially 3 times. And it would be an 800 number. And if it was legit, they would leave a message. I have one account with Citi and its paid on time every time. I would have received late notices by mail or email.

Harassing calling pattern - up to 3 x daily, no messages left, just continuous calls all times of the day.
Blocked number which resulted in more frequency of calls even though their attempts are thwarted after first ring. NOTHING STOPS THIS ANNOYANCE.

This is NOT A LEGIT NUMBER...some guy named "Josh" called me...unprofessional in the way he was talking. Sounded like a salesman talks...trying to be a smooth talker type...Didn't pronounce my last name correctly...Asked to talk to me and instantly started trying being friendly with me...asking how I was doing today? And then said, oh by the way this conversation may be being recorded. He then wanted to talk to me about my "Citi Bank Checking Account". I stopped him in mid conversation and said look, I know exactly who you are...a scammer...you are full of crap!!!! I don't even have a Citi Bank Checking Account. I have already reported you to the FCC. then I hung up on him. hat was at 921am. yesterday they called at 945am, 1245pm and 345pm. A bunch of scamming morons!!! BEWARE!!!

It's NOT a SCAMMER! I read the posts as I didn't recognize the number either. Then I realized I opened an affiliate account with Citibank for the veterinarian. I called the 866 # they left on the message and yes it is legit. Now it is possible that the automated calls from 859 may be calling wrong numbers, but if you call the 866 number you might be able to have them take your phone number off the automated list.

I've received several calls from this number on my home phone and cell phone. They never leave a message and when I did call it back once, all I got was a recording asking for my account number...no menu option and no mention of who they are. I've blocked them from calling my home and cell phone.
