I answered on the 1st ring but got a missed call on my cell phone.

They called 3 times, I missed all the calls. When I call back no one answers.

no one on the line, perhaps testing number or to trick you into calling back

Caller called three times.
I missed the first two calls, and answered the third.
Once I answered they hung up without speaking.
When I tried to call back, the number would not go through.
I have registered my cell no on the Do No Call List. I did this two months ago.

Says it's a credit card company and when you press 1 they hang up on you.
