That number called me twice back to back. The first time they did not leave a message the second time a Chelsea Weber stated in the voicemail that my brother (even stated his name) listed me as a reference and she was calling to ask some questions. She even left me a 888 number to call back and a ref. number. She did not state what company she worked for. I got the impression from the voicemail that she was a potential employer for my brother.

If they harass, call before 8am or after 9pm, threaten, etc. Sue them in local court for $1000 small claims.

This outfit called my home three times today (June 20, 2011). The first two times, they didn't leave a message, the last time, they called was when I got home from work and they did leave a message. The message was very obtuse saying that this was a "personal matter" and if I wasn't the party they were calling to please press 1. I picked up the phone and pressed 1. They will probably call back again. After reading some of the comments, they'll probably begin harassing me at work. Can you please stop this?

First thing they said was "this call is being recorded" asked for me by name, said it was "regarding my business" and wanted to verify my birth date. At which point I hung up. This is the first time they've called. I looked up the number online and it's a credit recovery company?

Send them a "stop harrassing me at work letter" via certified mail and if they continue then you can sue them!

It is Pioneer credit , a debt collector that should be sued and they are just as bad as premire credit who both work like "hit men" for the us dept of education.They may collect other debts as well but there are laws against thier behavior, They harrass you to death, they will start callig at 8 am and call all day until 12 at night and are relentless . I got online and downloaded forms to have my school loans dismissed, if you are not disabled you may still qualify for several others such as "failure to benifit" or "disqualifying status" and if you do not have or did not have at the time of the loan a GED you can have the loan dismissed and it may be worth looking in to . but either way it is illegal the way these people harrass and threaten you even on your family members phone they dont care they are after those thousands of dollars they add to your school loans . you can call the us dept of ed or the Resolution Center at 1 800 621 3115 ,when it asks for your social security number you will just get a recording so you have to press zero or ask to speak with an agent to talk to someone to report them about the harrasment and they can send you forms or you can download them from the gov website or here at http://www.ehow.com/how_2223794_have-student-loan-forgivendismissed.html copy past that link or go to E HOW " how to get your student loan dismissed or forgiven" and you will find several options if you can not pay or should not even owe the student loan,

They are legally not able to call you earlier than a certain time and definitely not as late as midnight. Nine at night is what I've read. If they harrass you before a certain time or after you can sue them. Fight back!
