Received call from man identifying himself as Officer Dvid Cooper. Called my daughter and a co-worker. From the Attorney General's office in Florida. When I proceeded to question him, he became irate and hung up. I called back and advised to stop calling me and my family. Sounds like he speaking thru a voice disguiser. Also used a name of John Smith.

Said I was used as a reference from a lady I don't know but who lives in my area. Had my home number, name, and address as well as the other ladies. I asked for all his info, which he gave, and I told him I was going to report it to the local authorities. He claimed he was from the Federal Investigative Authorities...yah right! He also said his name was Baul Harbour form Jacksonville, Fl.

This people keep calling about some money i supposely owe from like 6 years ago from another state agency my papers, social security and i.d. had been stolen 3 times and i worked only in brownsville not any other state.

They use many phone #s,they r very clever with accents claiming 2 b federal officers using scare tactics,I fell victim many times

Threatened legal action against me for an old payday loan. I let him talk for a few minutes and then told him how many laws he was breaking. He got really upset and said the police would be at my house in 45 minutes. Story was full of holes, anyway. I had a payday loan go bad a few years ago, but it wasn't the company he named, and they wouldn't have my current address anyway. So, truth is, I have no idea who he is. Probably not a collection agency, just somebody trying to steal money. If you're on this page while talking to them like I was after googleing the number, hang up now.

I just received a call from this number from an Officer Jones...yet his english was terrible..he claimed I didn't make the payments to a loan I had obtained and now it's in the courts hands..but through their help can avoid the court fee's and penalties if I gave them over 700 dollars..and they claimed to have my social security number also..I saw this type of scam on my local news last week..so I so happened to fight back..he got nasty with me..to blow him a kiss..lol..I said I was recording this with my blackberry, and had the number and I was going to report the call..his attitude changed completely..I called back minutes later asking for supervisor or management extension so my police officer husband can get more specific information...funny they didn't have any information to give me and I can clearly hear them passing the phone and speaking their language in full convo..BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE ...DON'T FALL FOR IT

I received a phone call today, April 18th 2011 and a guy left the message on my voicemail.. I couldn't understand his language, but he or she said to call this number back or I would be going to jail for a debt and to avoid legal action that I should call back The Department of Crimes Bureau of Investigators.. He said they have my social security number too. I still have the voice mail saved! I called the operator to give me the "So Called Bureau's Telephone Number" and there is no such thing.. This is very scary to me!

just received a call from this kimberly stewart, which really was an indian woman with a very heavy accent. she indicated that i would be put in jail for an unpaid loan debt. but then ended the call with God Bless (huh?). this is a complete scam to get money out of you...would love to find out a way to stop these people from calling my number.

recd phone call from this number stating thatit was in my best interest to call this number as it was important and if I didnt respond legal action would be taken.

I got a call from this crooks, caller was indian with american name, rude and abusive. Said his name was James Wilson and blah, blah - he was going to arrest me and take me to jail for a payday loan debt. I got this call a couple of times 3 months ago and it was the same guy but he gave me a different name. These people are scammers and we need to stop them somehow.
