This call came in with this number and the name on the ID said it was "James Anderson"

received call from this number, went to VM, didn't leave a message. I don't know anyone in 863 area code.

Oh, they also told me the company was called tow different things on two different occasions:

Card Services based in Washington DC

and

CC Service based in Atlanta GA - Told me her name was Isabel - refused to offer last name.

When I asked for a number to call back on she said "555-500-5555"

This isn't a racist comment - just an observation - the callers are female, black and from the South. That's all the info I have.

100% a CC number-collecting scam though.

This is a scam!

I played along, trying to find out where they were calling from. They just demanded my credit card number repeatedly. I kept saying I'd give it to them - if they just tell me which card they are offering. They got aggressive and eventually hung up.

They are stealing CC information - pure and simple.

Someone needs to give this to the feds.

I live in Houston, TX. Received a phone call at 4:38 PM. Since I was not home, it went to my voicemailbox. Agree with the previous ones. "recording stating that I could recieve a lower interest rate on my credit card, says "Last Chance to get a lower rate on your current account" BUT not from my credit card company. Press 1 to accept, press 2 to stop the calls (I pressed 2)"
I tried to call back, however, phone is not in service. Also, when I googled, several names came up.
I filled out the do not call list, but I am still getting phone calls!!!

My phone showed "Out of area" with 863-467-8918. I used to live in Florida, so this phone number belongs to somewhere in the Tampa area. Unless it is a cell phone.

Caller ID for 863-467-8918 says: James Anderson.
Called the number back and the number is not in service. There are a couple different names and addresses that come up when I searched online. That is odd. Same number for 3 different people in different towns in the same state? Whoever it really is, hung up.

Name on Caller ID James Anderson as reported here previously. Tried to call the number back and the number is not in service. There are a couple of different names attached to this number when doing a google search.
No message left.

Call came in from "James Anderson". Same thing "don't be alarmed, final notice for rates". I talked to a person that said my name came from a list and he doesn't know what list (for my protection of course).

Seems like a scam.

Recorded call regarding interest rates. Starts with: "Don't be alarmed". We have received several of these calls from different numbers over the last two weeks.

An unsolicited call was received from this number with the caller being indicated as being a "James Anderson" which does not appear to be the case. The call was from an automated system.
