This number called my cell however they didn't leave a message. I immediatley googled it because i've been getting harrasing calls from 786-539-4784. Same old story indian man named George Snyder and claims of an unpaid payday loan. They were actually calling for my fiance why they called on my cell we're not sure. He has never gotten a loan however he did apply at moneymutual.com a couple months ago but declined it because the cost for pay back was outlandish. Be very cautious they did cash a fake check for $30 and we spoke with a detective who believes it may be an international scam just using Florida numbers and he has heard of cases that the victims that called back the scammers have received charges up up $1000 per MINUTE on their cell phone bills. Please contact your local fraud detective IMMEDIATLEY if you have been contacted by these people they have more info on you than just your names and numbers. Save any voicemails.
Received a call from Marcus Slater who later identified himself as Marcus Brown in the same message. Phone number was 786-539-4784. This is a scam and I have logged a complaint with the internet crimes department.
It was a man with a heavy accent. I could not understand him and all I did understand was lawsuit and did i have a attouney. I told him to have someone call back that i could understand so another guy with an even harder accent got on the phone i told him i could not understand him and that i was at work. they called back like 8 more times in a row. i did not answer because i was at work
A caller who said his name was Derek Smith (spoke with a heavy Indian accent0 said he was from the American Law Division office representing an attorney. He called to speak with my mother and when I told him that he would have to speak with me, he said that the call was in reference to my brother who took out two loans with his client and that they were going to court on Monday, 12:00 noon to register the court case. i knew this was a scam because my brother never takes out loans (he's a cash only person) but somehow they obtained my brother's personal information. I told the caller that this call was being recorded for my mother's protection and would be forwarded to the FBI (he immediately hung up the phone). I contacted my brother and informed him that another scam was going on and he would take care of it immediately.
These scam artists are getting this personal information from a source. The FBI needs to find these people and prosecute them. There is no American Law Division and the phone number doesn't register.
