This scam begins with a bogus Facebook page created to LOOK like The real thing, it even contains some of your family and friends as mutual 'contacts.' (But they're really NOT there....just copied/pasted images them taken right off your Facebook page) Candidate contacts you via Messenger and immediately pretends they know you. Then comes the juicy part.....he/she asks you if PCH has contacted you. A quick search of Internet proved the acronym stands for publishers clearing house. He/she then claims they saw your name on the clipboard that PCH was carrying when they were delivered THEIR winnings 'the other day.' This is where my flag went up and I asked the player why he has not updated his Facebook page since 2012! As I was doing that, I blocked the bogus identity he/she created on EVERYTHING he/she was connected to on my cellphone. I posted a warning to all of my Facebook friends and those within my social pages. When I returned to his/her Facebook page, the identity was deleted. My phone rang and the number listed here was on my caller ID. The next day, an additional attempt was made to contact me using a Montana phone number 406-315-4172. Again did not answer....perhaps this 2nd phone # is linked to someone else's event? I will keep this site handy and plan on adding anyone else who makes an attempt on my phone or My social networks!

DID NOT REGNIZE NUMBER SO DID NOT EVEN TRY TO ANSWER CALL. Seems lately we have been having many such calls from several different numbers. I take number and put on computer and it usually tells me it is a scam call.
