Sounded like a scam want to fix my computer.

This was a scam to get access to my computer. He said that he was not selling anything, but when I looked up the number on-line, many people have been scammed once they allow access to their computer. He kept trying to get me to start up my computer. He kept saying something was wrong with my computer system and it was downloading junk, etc.

The company (caller "Tom") was apparently PC Optimizer calling about my computer. I knew it was a scam, and told them we were on DNC before hanging up.

Not sure - she was talking about Windows on computers & wanting information about my computer. I couldn't get her to give me the name of the company. She was talking about problems with websites putting something in the computer that will cause it to crash.
