Here in Phoenix, AZ - 1:06PM, just received a call from this number. I pressed "1" and requested the gentleman remove my number, at which point he hung up.

The number is non-existant - some number they just put into their computer to make the calls. I spoke to the Fedral Trade Commission, who is responsible for the "Do Not Call List", and the recommendation was to change my number, as there is nothing they can do, they do not have a "good" number at which to contact the company whose name you are never given.

I wrote to our Senator and he requested the FTC look nto it and get back to me - and him.

Always the same recording from "Card Member Services" and never a company name mentioned or a "good" phone number.

Received call from this number and they didn't leave a message. I frequently get calls from other area codes and I don't answer them. On occasion I will get a recorded message about signing up for a warranty or low interest credit card.

Most likely they are using a computer to call via the Internet and using software to create the spoofed number. Typical tactic, by unethical businesses who know they are violating the Federal and State No Call laws. They will get caught eventually and hopefully fined heavily.

As I understand it, they are already in violation of the No Call laws, due to the fact they do not identify their comapny upon the initial recored call. So, hopefully when enough people report them, they will begin to start getting fines and be run out of busienss.

They call every 25-30 minutes. 3 times a day

Strange Seems like a fake credit card company. SERIOUSLY! 9AM ON MEMORIAL DAY!!

They have a pre-recorded message offer to lower interest rates on credit cards but it is just a scam trying to get your cc info

I'm registered on "DO NOT CALL" WITH MY NUMBER 415-595-0545 but

sometimes receive political or commercial calls.

Last of them was from number 865- 292- 0385.

I don't understand how DO NOT CALL WORKS, and why I has receive

unwilling calls.
