Got the same thing in the mail. Wasted my time trying to get someone at Amazon to talk to me about it. Assume scam.

Got the tear off the edges letter by U. S. Mail stating Congratulations --- my Name Our Promotional Department shows...I was scheduled to receive $250.00 Amazon Gift Card. I figured it was fake but decided to have a chat with Amazon and ask them thinking they would know it was a scam. Ha what a waste of time. Durga Singh signed on the chat, asked if I had called the number, I said I had not, he told me to call and see if it was valid. I told him he works for Amazon and he should know the answer or find out if true, he then said just ignore it. I persisted saying didn't he think Amazon should know someone was using the logo etc on a scam but he just repeats, ignore it. Thanks to others here who DID have the answer when Amazon didn't.
