called, my phone listed it as potential scam so i did not answer, they left no voice mail. The other reports on here say that these people called claiming they were from Sears, I have not had a Sears account in literally 15 years and when I closed the account I did not owe them anything.

Coyote Do NOT pay Receivables Management Services (RMS) for a Sears bill. Scam artist wanted my girlfriend's telephone number saying she owe Sears several thousand dollars for the purchase of a new refrigerator. Of course, the scam artist wanted immediate payment by credit card, I refused. I requested a physical bill, scam artist refused. I did not give my girl friend's telephone number to the scam artist. DO NOT PAY these people they are a con.

El Coyote 25 yes, I received a telephone call from (866) 216-9819, telling me that the conversation was being recorded. Further, they asked if my wife was available for a personal matter, and if this telephone number was not her telephone please provided her new number. I refused the call, the man on the other end of the line stated that my wife would have BAD CREDIT because she does not pay her bills and they would accept credit card payment. I told the rip-off artist to provided a bill, he said that Sears through the Receivables Management Services (RMS) does not provide a bill that is Sear's job. DO NOT TALK TO THIS RMS, they are crooks. Of course, he did not get a credit card number, nor a new telephone number.

Please share this far and wide. I have been getting calls from some 866 numbers that say I owe Sears for a television repair. I know for sure that I had paid at the time of service as Sears requires. This 'collection agency' wanted me to pay for it over the phone. They have called me at least five times. I asked them to send me the bill, and they never did. Instead they keep calling me.

DO NOT PAY ANY 'COLLECTION AGENCY' WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD OVER THE PHONE!!! I called Sears immediately after the call and they told me that I had indeed paid for the repair and that this is a SCAM
