They'd changed their name from Aktiv Kapital to PRA Group Canada and their behavior is pretty much the same as always.

They keep calling and i dont owe any credit cards for 9 years now why are they still calling after 7 years its clear right so how do you get them to stop calling.

This company has phoned me at least 50 times, tries to get my SIN etc which I will not reveal. I hear they are a collection co. but these guys phone me at both my work numbers (illegal), and I haven't had an overdue bill in over 10 years, and I don't owe a penny to anyone. (Any financial matter has a statute of limitations of 7 years!)
I intend to record and log their calls, and when I have sufficient evidence of harassment, they will have to to travel to the Yukon to face criminal charges at their own expense!

This is a company that buys debtsand information from other companies for pennies on the dollar. Then get ahold of you to pay up the full amount. They are quite persistant and others have said they have used bullying techniques to get information.They call, tell you they are so-and-so (no company name, just a first name of the caller) give you a reference number and a phone number to call them back. They say its relating to a "personal business matter." Phooey!
