They never leave message and I want them to stop calling.

This number has been calling my house for over a week now. Never answered but they never leave a message on my answering machine. Yesterday I decided to call the number back one day and the woman answered as Wendy. She said the the company name is Plaza Associates and they do not sell anything. Asked her to remove my number but she wanted me to give her my telephone number. I didn't want to do it as I was afraid this was a scam. A few minutes later the number called my house again. When I answered I just said to remove my number and no one even spoke. Today the number called again! I explained to this woman that I had asked to have my number removed. She said they were looking for a man by the name of someone who does not live at my home address and whom I do not know. She said she would remove my number. No kidding, the number called back within a minute and a different woman answered. I told her that they had called my house 6 times and that what was so hard about removing my numer. Of course I was more harsh in the language I used so she responded with "why are you talking to me with such language?" Don't know what these people want but tired of them harrassing me. Filing complaints with my telephone company and the FCC.
