i've had this phone number for almost 10 years and have no unpaid debts. they call frequently but no one is ever on the line when I answer, no message left when I dont answer. shouldnt this be considered harassment?

They keep calling looking for Larry Parks. I have told them I am not him and to stop calling my private cell. They keep calling so my next step is to go to sheriff and file harrassment and stalker charges.

Look at my posting from July 2011. They were driving me crazy with this crap, running my cell phone bill up and using all my minutes, and all for a debt that not only was not mine, it was not collectable! That didn't stop them. What stopped them was taking legal action. I am sure there are several good firms out there helping people like us...the one I used was Lemberg and Associates. I sued these jerks and WON! The settlement wasn't much, but the silence on my cell phone was worth a fortune! Don't put up with this crap! It is illegal and you have rights!

I am disabled and told them this is an emercency only cell phone, not to call on it. They still do. And its not even my debt!

Read my postings from today and, more importantly, from July 2011. It took six months but I sued and WON! They stopped calling and I pocketed some nice change at their expense. Now they are calling my sister, and guess what? They are back in court! You don't have to put up with this crap!

By the way, I am also on disability and I need every penny I get to make it through the month, and that includes paying my cell phone so I can stay in contact with my family and healthcare providers. They didn't care. They ran me out of minutes constantly! It stopped when I won in court! You can too!

I don't know who they are. I checked my father's call log because he doesn't understand the calls he is getting...he is in a nursing home with progressive dementia! These people have no shame! None! I called the number back and told them they have 24 (at this time) complaints against them (their recorded message provides no indication who they are) and I told them I hope they go to jail some day for their scam!

They call me on my cell phone (which is the number is only about 5 months old), do not leave a message, I called them, it took about a minute for someone to answer, but there was no ring on the other end of the phone. They asked for my old roomate. I told them they have the wrong number and when I tried to give them the correct number for him, they hang up. How did they get my cellphone. I did not even have this number when I lived with him.
It's fustrating.
