I received a call from this #, it looked a bit strange saying "CVSKMART". I contacted CVS Specialty pharmacy and they told me that someone did call me regarding my prescription and told me what it was about. I called the number they gave me. They didn't ask any unusual questions and had other necessary information.

THIS IS NOT A SCAM - it's CVS's BENEFIT VERIFICATION number.
I verified the number by calling their Customer Care # (800) 237-2767.
HOW do we get "EveryCaller" to change the status from scam????

Not a scam. It is a company that works with CVS.

I called this number and the CVS Caremark supervisor, Denise, told me that someone is using a scrambler to spoof their number. She confirmed they would never ask for a Social Security Number or birth date on a call out to a customer. They are reporting it to their management. When we got the call the caller ID read CVS Kmart, Inc. not CVS Caremark.

They asked me for my birthday & it was CVS. Denise is wrong about the date of birth. they never asked for my social security number.

What is the phone number you are referring to?

(866) 249-1556 is a legitimate number from Caremark Specialty Pharmacy.

Not spam- it’s CVS Specialty Pharmacy calling about my chemotherapy perscription

It called today early morning before 8 am. It is a unfamiliar number and I did not pick up. It left a message. This is from my iphone - Transcription Beta.
"Good morning, this is CVS Specialty pharmacy. We are calling for MY Name in regard to your order for the month of November. It is very important that you return our call within the next 3 days to arrange your shipment if we do not hear from you, your order_____. You can reach us back at 800-541-2934 _____ Thank you."
Call back number 800-541-2934 is a good number for CVS. I have a prescription at CVS but I did not order for November. I believe CVS using an outside service to call customer to renew their medication (in my case). That's why the caller 866-249-1556 can not be trace. Or, the same caller is doing different kind of projects for CVS. Hope this help. Thanks.

I get my mess from them

It is a scam. They called back to back. Eventually a woman left a message asking for me by name wanting me to contact saying the doctor had to tell me important information about a medication. Well that doctor would have contacted me personally if there was an issue not contact a pharmacy to tell me. Do not fall for it. And if it were an emergency as they claim they have the permission to leave a voicemail not get me to contact asking what it is.

This is NOT spam--it is the CVS Specialty Rx that many insurance companies use

Like Shasta said, this is a specialty pharmacy that carries medicines you can't get at most regular pharmacies. If you're getting spam calls or scam calls they're probably from someone who's spoofing CVS's number. CVS Caremark and CVS Specialty are both legit

Spam call - they're trying to get you to buy drugs. It's a real pharmacy, but highly unethical. State board of pharmacy should be interested in these guys.

So this number has been calling me frantically almost every 30 mins to an hour and this is what I received on my voicemail. Funny thing is I don't even use CVS pharmacy for anything and CVS doesn't take my insurance company anymore anyways.

This is really a Pharmacy, I get my monthly prescriptions from them. They are a speciality pharmacy, so its not for regular medications that you can get at your local pharmacy. My medicine is an injection (not insulin) and regular pharmacies dont carry it, so I have to get it mailed to me from this CVS Speciality Pharmacy.

I CALL CVS CORP OFFICE AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS # IN THERE SYSTEM AND THEY DO NOT HAVE AN EXT 1477882 FOR A JASON THIS # THEY SAID THIS IS SCAM CALL, TRYING TO GET PERSONAL INFO FROM YOU. I don't use CVS pharmacy SO THERE IS NO REASON FOR THEM TO CALL ME ACCORDING TO THE CVS CORP. CUSTOMER CARE REP. These spammers are only trying to trick you into revealing sensitive and private information. BLOCK THERE CALL IF YOU CAN.

I received two calls from 866 249 1556. The first time I answered, but hung up as it didn't sound right. The second time they left a message. It was in regards to a Prescription I supposedly have with them. I don't have any prescriptions at all. Definitely a scam.

I believe it really is Caremark Specialty Pharmacy. I have been legitimately dealing with them all morning while trying to get a complicated new prescription started & so there have been lots of phone calls back and forth between us and insurance company. So when I received a call back from this number, it was completely plausible. However, I didn't get to the phone in time and they didn't leave a message. That's why I did the reverse search.

I received two phone calls from this number (866) 249-1556. I called my doctor's office and they said CVS was the company that was providing a medical device for my treatment (news to me, which was why I was checking), but the number they gave me to call the pharmacy was a completely different number. If you do have business with CVS, make sure you call the number provided by a trusted source (doctor or official website) rather than just calling back the number by which you were contacted.

This is a scam. I got a call from this number when a person, not an automated machine, specifically requested me by name. They said the line was being recorded for security purposes and they needed to verify my phone number, name, and date of birth. To prove this was a scam, I explained that they already had my phone number (they called me) and my name (they asked specifically for me). No real pharmacy does this. This is called phishing. Do yourselves a favor and do not answer any questions. These spammers are only trying to trick you into revealing sensitive and private information. Don't fall for it! If you think it might be a real call, end the call and call YOUR specific pharmacy.
