Someone called again today. I decided to answer as I’m protected under my consumer proposal against such calls. I was put on hold and then without letting me know who I was speaking with asked me to verify who I was. HELLO you called me. When I explained I was under consumer proposal she said she could not help me until I gave MY phone number (HELLO you called me), complete mailing address and dob. When I said consumer proposal again she said until I gave her this information and confirm I was who she was calling she could not change my record. I tried to give her my trustees info but she kept talking over me. I mentioned that I was uncomfortable giving this info to a company I did not know and that it was a privacy issue she said it was not. She would not even give me the name of the company she was collecting for as it was private. Blocked number and am contacting my trustee to look after this. This company should be drummed out of business.
