They left a message saying they were Amex. I don't have an Amex account.
Caller: Fake Amex
FRAUD 866-280-1853 called and left me a VM at my number for my husbands EX-wife stating its AMEX from Arizona. BLOCK IT ASAP
Scam caller. It's a call center out of India run by organized crime. Same spoofed Arizona number as some of the replies I've seen. Don't feed the beast.

Called 12/30/19. Blocked it.
Attempt at Fraud -- They stated they were from America Express, called me 4 times back to back. They left the number 866-280-1853 and another number from Arizona area code 623. When I contacted Amex they stated it was not a legitimate call because I didn't have any issues and my account is current. The Sr. Account Litigator had a Middle Eastern Accent but didn't leave a name. This happened today 9/30/19.
