The best thing to do is call them back. Do "NOT" get on your computer and do what the Indian says. If you follow his instructions, he "WILL" be able to harm your computer and fraud you. Just make up a good excuse to set the phone down for a minute. Then let him waste as much time on the phone as he wants. That way you're wasting his time the same way he wasted yours. At least he won't be able to fraud somebody else in the meantime. I did it! Too bad he hung up on me after 4 minutes and 23 seconds, just checked the phone records.
Where can this number be reported? Phishing scam
Just got the same call - ignored.
Herb / A&FCC: Received similar call 12/14th. "MS license expired. Call to receive renewal code." Is there any way that we can report and/or shut these scammers down?
Is a recorded message saying it was an emergency that my Microsoft license has expired
