We received a call today from David Adams stating that our electric meter will be replaced at 10:30 am, and that we were pre-notified in our most recent electric bill. Scam!

Yes ,David Adam tried to scam me too...same mo as others.. electric company will turn off the power unless I apply495.00 to a pack card within 45 minutes.

Scam!! My mom called said to call a David Adam. Or else power will get off. Asked him for his address. He made up some address. I googled it said this sounds like a scam and he hung up.

Just got a call from them today... Sam Wallace called stating that I need to call David Adams right away or my SDG&E was going to be turned off.... Called SDG&E and I'm current. SCAM BEWARE!!!!

It's a fraud. He said he called from SMUD, asking for deposit on meter changing and say he will shut electricity immediately if the payment was not received in 24 hr. I called SMUD directly to verified, the issue he mentioned is not exist. DO NOT PAY.

This caller is a scam. Said his name is David adams calling from your power company and insist your power will be cut if you don't go buy a gift card to pay him immediately. Do not pay. Call you power company directly
