Company saying they would provide a free security system so they could put a sign up in the yard advertising the service, leaves a message saying to touch 1 to take the call, touch 2 to be put on the do not call list, leaving no number to call back. Tonight they called and I had them give me the numbers to call back.

Got a live call claiming to represent "Home Protection." Wanted to install a free home protection service in exchange for leaving a sign in the yard. Good idea as this home sits way off the highway and no one would see the sign anyway.

Caller representing Home Protection called from 360-529-6175 but gave a call back number as 866-290-1970. They wanted to setup a security system at a discount rate and place a sign in my home. I ask for his name, address and phone and all I got was a phone number. I requested the caller to remove my number I am listed on the national do not call listing

Caller identified himself as a rep of Home Protection, Tom Johnson (called from a Montana number 406-530-5038 but gave 1-866-290-1970 as a call back number and says they are located in LA), asked if I was the home owner, then repeatedly asked me to say my first name to talk to a specialist for a free home security system. I asked repeatedly what their address was and tried to get any information I could. Jerks.

Caller identified himself as a rep of Home Protection (called from 603-214-3653 but gave 1-866-290-1970 as a call back number), asked if I was the home owner, then repeatedly asked me to say my first name to talk to a specialist for a free home security system. He must have asked over twenty times during our short call. He was persistent but I refused to say it. I suspect a more sinister scam in the works such as them using that voice recording to call your relatives with a fake kidnapping and ransom plot.

Caller identified himself as a rep of Home Protection. He wanted to know if I was the home owner, if I had a working security system and he wanted to offer me a free home security for participating in something.
