They are very persistent. They call several times per day. They ask for names that do not live here. I still don't know what they want. I am on the NO CALL LIST !! Obviously that LIST does not help!!

They keep calling because I will not give them another contact number for the person they want to talk to - now they are calling just after 7am mountain time. What is this nonsense and who changed the law from 8am? I sure didn't get a chance to make comments to my government rep on this proposed change. I believe in the privacy laws - it is NOT up to me to divulge personal information I have on anyone. I have since spent a good deal of time posting on the web to make sure everyone who receives such calls is aware of the 2 year rule. Do NOT talk, acknowledge, pay a cent or make arrangements to pay anything to collection agencies. By the time the creditor has "sold" your delinquent account to the credit agency, it has already significantly damaged your credit bureau report. If you do any of the above, the 2 year period begins all over again. They cannot sue or take any action against you in most provinces after 2 years, but that does NOT stop them from trying to intimidate you into doing so. Search the net BEFORE having any dealings with them. Hang up on them, don't answer the phone. Do NOT change your telephone number or they try to "SKIP TRACE" you by calling relatives and neighbours to get your new#, & embarrass you. They Cannot call you at work if you tell them you cannot receive calls from them at work. Do not have any dealings with them - they are one of the few industries that grow in times of recession on the back of people's misery. They are paid only $10 per hour - the rest is commission they receive from collecting your account. They don't want to make "arrangements" they simply want your money to boost THEIR paycheques. They are the bottom feeders - they produce nothing & do not benefit society in any manner. They will eventually quit calling you if they realize you will hold your ground & not pay a penny, afterall they are only after their commission & won't waste their time on someone who won't pay. Know your rights!

recieve a phone call to this number telling me that i need to phone them back.

They are harrassing me about an old account with another company, even though the account was closed with zero balance. they have many complaints on the internet for this sort of behaviour.

this number calls all the time. we asked them to send us a letter to explain everything and still have not recieved it! since then we have recieved numerous calls and when we called back they REFUSED to give us a supervisor, one female went so far as to hang up on me!! they have been asking for bank info and everything. i don't know how they got my number because when my now husband incurred this bill he wasn't with me... and he NEVER gave anyone my personal number. Be VERY wary of these people.. HUGE scam!!!

Wow, iQor only called once today. But did they only call once?
First I had a call from;
Unknown name - Unknown number at 3:09 pm.
Then I had the call from iQor;
Unknown name - 1-866-294-1752 at 5:22 pm.
Dial *57 and this call was put on Bell's Call Trace List!
Then I called them back to thank them for calling!
But now I get another call from;
Unknown name - Unknown number at 6:17 pm.
They are working with the scum bag who runs this
messed up building. Do ya think?

This also has something to do with iQor,
which is a collection agency.
iQor using local Ottawa relay number 613-567-3100.

They're using this number to see if they can relay you a fax,
or just to see if the phone record are up to date.
Calling 613-567-3100 will only give you a message saying
"this number is not in service"

This is a telephone log from a computer CID program.
It shows just how much this IQOR likes to harass people.
Today was Saturday 14, Feb. 2009 (Valentines Day).
They just had to call again twice today just to show
how miserable they can be! At 11:23AM and then at 4:35PM, but
calling them back did no good cause they closed early today!

IQOR IS REALLY PUSHING IT'S LUCK WITH US !
They called again today at exactly 1:27 PM. Everyone should see
the log file generated by our CID programs over the last 4-5 years.
And the number of times they call us in one day. We will make these
files available for everyone to see online very very soon. And
sooner if they keep calling our home and work numbers regularly.
