they e-mailed me today with the same message, asking me to call 1-866-296-6855 immediately. Right now I am searching after credibility this phone #.

I received a email message, which claims to be from a windows tech. I spoke with windows tech support on line and found out they don't contact by email. I have also blocked the email, reported the scam email to the windows tech scam team. I am reporting the scam on as many sources as I have time to and can find. I have copied the contents of the email I received for others to read. Dear Mary, This mail is from the network department of windows technical team to inform you that the IP address of your computer system is sending error report logs on our server, indicating usage of your system from unauthorised source. Please contact our service team at the earliest to prevent identity theft and data loss.
