Definitely a scam.
Just received a call regarding Student Loans. I called back and they answered with an American accent but was very unprofessional and hung up immediately when I didn't give the correct answer.
Same thing - caller I D said Comcast. Wanted me to go to my computer security. Nope Sorry Bye!
They have called several times and now they texted me. "I'm in a meeting I'll call you back"
I have called Comcast about this more than once they don't do anything.
This guy, James Wilson, called several times, and we finally connected yesterday. After he checked my computer, he told me I was paying for many services/processes that were disabled or stopped, and I was entitled to a refund of $300.00. He even gave me a case ID and his "direct" phone number. Bottom line, when the transfer showed up in my bank, it was for $2300 instead of $300. So he had me go to CVS to buy $2000 of Target gift cards. Ultimately, he transferred $1400.00 out of my savings, then stole that, so I am down $3400.00 Thanks a bunch Comcast.
This is a Scammer. Person want me to give him information about my Gateway so they can hack my computer.
