Claims to be from the pharmacy dept calling on behalf of my insurance. I use the pharmacy dept from inside my grocery store. This is not them as I have my pharmacy number saved to my phone and I get official letters from the actual insurance agency. Not calling them back and I dunno if it’s a scam as numbers can be spoofed and info can be bought. If it’s that important they can send me a letter.

This is NOT a spam/scam caller. This IS BC/Anthem/Amerigroup health insurance. It is mostly used by the pharmacy follow up. There is also a number provided to call and opt out.

they leave an initial message now. but an untrained ear wouldnt realize it's a deep fake AI voice, pretending to have a southern twang. I also called Anthem, and they have no numbers with an 866 prefix.

i called my insurance for health care and they never heard the number but i didnt think its part of blue cross could be an outside company im more worried about which info they have on me i do not know how they can use my info if im fake other than im asked to say yes yes yes or no and can record it take my info and use my could to say yes to purchase an item with my credit maybe perhaps (i hope not although)
