Yes we received a text message from Wells Fargo regarding an invoice for June which of course there isn't one. This came through on my personal cell phone not my business phone and Wells Fargo is my business bank. After seeing these comments I don't feel the need to call them back.
I have received 2 calls from this number. The first time I called back and was asked for my SSN but they would not give me any identifying info to p;rove that they were really Wells Fargo. I refused and called Wells Fargo, which is my bank. They verified that this is not a WF number.
they called me too. Refused to give me any identifying info other than my name and my business name. Asked for 4 digits of my SSN before they would give me any identifying info from their side. I refused.
Leaves VM: Claims to be Well Fargo and mentions no card holder name but implores business card holder to call 866-365-9714 ext. 35762
