Called today at 12:59 pm, didn't answer, no message. Although I live in VA, I have NO accounts with Dominion Energy.
Caller: Spoofed Dominion Energy
Just received a call from this number that came up as from Dominion power and the pre-recorded message was that my account is delinquent and that my service is going to be disconnected within 15 minutes if I do not respond immediately. I know it is a hoax and a scam so I called Dominion power directly using a different number and reported the call. During the call the recorded message of dominion power on their website reported that because of the coronavirus they will not be doing any disconnections at this time but keep your current account up-to-date. I talked to the representative after going through the phone tree and reported the number and they said they will report this number as being hacked. Total ridiculous illegal scam from criminal activity somewhere in this God forbidden world. I hope no one falls prey to this crap!
