I received a call from an unknown number and they left me a message talking about a purchase on Amazon for $1279 and to call this number if I didn’t order it. I don’t have any orders for that amount on my Amazon account. So, it’s obviously a scam.

If you have made this purchase on amazon.com and recognize it then simply hang up the call and your order will be delivered to your address in 2 to 3 days. However if you have not made any such transaction you can immediately call Amazon fraud prevention department on the toll-free number which is 866-469-1384

Call came from "private caller" saying there was a $1000+ charge made for an Amazon purchase, and if this wasn't our purchase we should call 866-469-1384.
