I recently bought a Sobakawa pillow online and these calls from this number began. I have Privacy Star on my phone, which blocks the number, but it will ring. This is the second time today they've called--they just now called and they called me about 3 hours ago.
$100 voucher for gas for trying a trial purchasing program
After reading that someone on this site had called the number and pressed "2" in order to be removed from their "call list", I called them. Before I could even press the number 2, someone greeted me using my name. They proceeded to thank me for making a purchase I had recently made online. I thought that's what it was about, but then she asked if I wanted to participate in a discount buying program for the cost of $1. After describing the program and telling me that I could easily change my mind about it during a 14 day trial period, I told her "no thank you", and that was it. Hopefully it's now over with and the calls will stop. I'll keep you posted.
I get several calls from this number every single day. I don't know who these people are, and/or what they want, but I can promise that I will NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE answer their calls!!
"FREE" Caribean Cruise after the survey. When I checked out this information online, it is tied to a TIMESHARE COMMUNITY in Florida. The "political survey" is a complete SCAM to get people to sign up for the cruise which is only "free" if you tour the timeshare! Check out Caribean Cruise Lines for more. Pages of complaints about this connection.
