This is a collection agency representing Capitol One -- don't be fooled by those saying it is a phishing scam (probably one of their collectors posted this). They also use 972-378-4101 and 866-929-5307. I am suing them and have filed action against them with FTC, BBB, and the Texas and Connecticut attorney generals. I hope to close them down via punitive damages and additional civil lawsuits that will cost them even more.

They call about 20 times a day an never leave a message....I called it back to see who it was an yes it is Capital One which I don't have.....it asks for a 16 digit credit card # (iI made up a # so I could talk to someone b/c "0" wouldn't work) but after serveral incorrect #'s (obviously) it said they were transferring me to a represtentative but then they hung up on me.....tried it again and it did the samething...This is a SCAM

Hi this is Linda, we have an offer for you from Capital One.
Called Capital One and they didn't know, said no calls were made.
After receiving one of these 5 times about an hour and a half apart, called Capital One back and played for representative. She asked supervisor who said it's not a human, it's a computer and that it's probably just a courtesy call.
If that's the case, they need to have the courtesy not to call after contact, or so often, or at all.

I called Capital One TWICE and verified that this number does NOT belong to Capital One. If you call it repeatedly, you get the same five or six people. They're trying to steal your information. Anyone on this site who says this number is legitimately a Capital One number is lying and, most likely, in on the scam. Go to www.donotcall.com and file a complaint. Let's see if we can get these f---ers shut down... today.
