Received a letter in the mail saying that they can provide loan modification. When I called this number I was told that the amount of my home mortgage would be lowered by $51,000.00 and that my interest rate would be lowered to 2% fixed rate for 30 years. They want $3,400.00 before the process is completed. They will only take a money order or a cashiers check.
